Cherished Hoe St museum wins funding

Vestry House Museum holds a special place in the hearts of many local residents. We’re thrilled the Museum will receive £4.5 million from the Government Funded Programme including £800,000 from the Council. This funding will transform Vestry House Museum, enhancing its heritage and community offerings, improving accessibility, and introducing new creative workspaces and a café. The museum is scheduled to reopen in early 2026, and once revitalised, we expect as many as 80,000 visitors annually to our wonderful museum.
