Town centre improvements coming soon

Your Labour Council is improving public spaces around Walthamstow town centre, to make the area safer and more welcoming, using Government funding.

The changes include CCTV, new lighting and paving around the new Soho Theatre and Hatherley Mews, and a new public space next to Juniper House. St James Street will see arches coming into use and improved lighting, paving, wayfinding and landscaping around the station. And improvements along the High Street include tree-planting, landscaping and public art.
