Following concerns raised with councillors about the safety and security around Troubridge Square, Vicky and Richard worked with Community Safety officers to increase presence and opportunities to meet with residents.

The visible engagement next to the library involved antisocial behaviour officers and police officers. In Troubridge Square over August 11 engagement sessions with partners took place and patrols recovered weapons and drugs. Officers also received positive feedback from the public. Police have advised that cash points in Wood Street have been tampered with. Please have a good look before withdrawing cash and try to shield the keyboard when entering a PIN number. Cameras are used to see the number and the slot is obstructed to cause the card to be retained.
