We are delighted to be working with local volunteers, the Environment Agency, Thames21 and Epping Forest Corporation of London on the launch of the River Ching Action Plan.

Back in 2022 we discovered that the River Ching had worryingly high levels of pollution through missed plumbing connections, sewage overflow and run off from nearby roads. We joined with local residents to plan how we could improve the ecological health of our local waterway and kick-start the clean-up.

Working with partner organisations and supported by Waltham Forest Council, we’ve helped to develop the River Ching Action Plan. The plan will deliver a range of projects aimed at improving the natural habitat of the river and working towards it achieving good ecological status.
