We are your Wood Street Councillors,  Cllr Richard Sweden and Cllr Vicky Ashworth, re-elected in 2022.

Since then, we have been speaking to hundreds of residents at our  ‘street surgeries’ covering the entire ward – learning what you like about our community and your hopes for our future.

Our pledges to our residents:

Improve Wood Street Plaza, including installing planters, further enhancements to equipment in the new playground and greening of the new play area

Work with residents affected by flooding and install flood prevention measures such as flood gardens and sustainable drainage systems and continue to engage with Thames Water for long term infrastructure improvements.
