A brand new Family Resilience Centre on North Birkbeck Road will open soon. It will provide support to children who have been excluded from school, or who are in contact with the criminal justice system. The new centre will offer counselling and therapy for young people who have interacted with the criminal justice system and their carers, and provide family therapy and restorative justice programmes.

For young people who have been excluded from school, the Centre will offer counselling and therapy alongside the basic subjects of Maths and English plus opportunities to learn skills in construction, catering, music recording and production and computer technology. The Centre is a self-contained facility and will be fully operational in April 2025.
