We are delighted to announce that over £50,000 is being spent in Chapel End on new CCTV cameras. Residents have raised concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour and using developer contributions, we are installing six new cameras. The Council used intelligence gathered by residents to guide decisions on where to place the cameras across the ward. The cameras will be installed at the following locations: Spruce Hills Rd, Farnan Ave (at the junction with Forest Rd and at the junction with Chingford Rd), Brettenham Rd, Lloyd Park skate park, and Brookscroft Rd.

We were pleased to recently have a visit in Waltham Forest from the Policing Minister, Dame Diana Johnson MP who has pledged to work with us to solve this problem. As your three local Labour councillors, we want to thank residents for your continued engagement on this difficult topic and look forward to a reduction in crime and anti-social behaviour locally as a result of these new measures.
